I’ve not posted in a while but I have been painting away. Delighted that my practice has formed into a habit. I’m a great worker when I have a deadline and I made this deadline for myself. I got myself a monthly slot on a market stall and began doing doggy portraits. 
I started to get Christmas commissions and then I had to get down to work.
I have enjoyed the problem solving that each portrait has brought. I thought I’d get bored doing only dogs but they are all so different and knowing that they are loved by the person who commissioned the painting made it more enjoyable and a bit nervous wracking – want to get it just right.
So far there have been great reactions to each piece.
